Checklist 2

So i’ve given myself too much work to do given the time constraints but its too far in to give up on the basis of my ideas so i’m now in the process of prioritising.

• Step one scrap idea of stop motion, this is too time consuming and I need to focus my time on my zine layout and completing my code illustrations.
• New motion idea! Video myself making one of my final outcomes. This will be done next week in the photography studio.
• Print room, already spoke about coming in to do mono-printing and lino-printing and a cyanotype, this will have to be done Thursday but luckily I don’t need to book.
  Printed out my design for the Cyanotype onto the acetate as needed except the ink wont dry, will have to source other printer to print design onto acetate in time for thursday.
• I still have 2 codes that need designs for and 2 that are in the process but I need to put my head into gear and decide what the hell i’m going to do with them.
  I have 1 code that needs a design for, this is going to have some serious research going into it to come up with an idea that works by Wednesday, I have about 3 in process they either need digitally rendering or just feedback if they work before I dare go ahead with them.
  I have 3 designs that are almost to a point where I am happy with them, I think some feedback might be necessary before I produce them as finals, although I don’t think any will need to be produced as finals in the print room.
  
• This weekend need to stock up on acetate, tracing paper and other lovely paper stock.
  Found some lovely squared paper stock and some more tracing paper. I was hoping for some recycled paper for my mono-print but I think it will work best on cartridge paper as the paper stock seemed too thin.
• Experiment printing on different stocks such as the pearlised paper.
• Decide on type of zine, think i’m heading for a pamphlet stitch, this is simpler and will give me greater freedom when designing my layout.
  Saw some lovely zines when I went into Magma, they used the pamphlet stitch and so this has reassured me that this will be the best one to use.
• Layout design to start in the last week.
  Began quick layouts in my sketchbook and put one ready on Indesign.
• Improve my first code on his birth, needs a change of colour or something as at the moment it looks like a child’s drawing.
  Bought some lovely beads that I plan to use on this piece, I’ve begun creating some backdrops in illustrator themed around gay pride and pixelation, I think these need toning down but then I can sew my code onto it.
